If you have previously experienced an E3 or E6 error code, please make sure to clean the burn pot of ash and pellets before starting another cook. It is possible, an E3/E6 error code could cause pellets to overflow and make their way into the ash and grease drawer. If not cleaned out, these raw pellets may ignite and burn.

Should this occur, shut down the barbecue by unplugging the barbecue or flipping the switch on the bottom of the hopper. Let the barbecue cool down and then use oven mitts to pull out the drawer and clean the drawer enclosure. We will send you a new drawer if it has been damaged.
