The short answer is “no”, and here’s why:
Countries worldwide operate with different gas pressures and –types. Thus, to ensure usability and performance, all vital gas parts are designed and manufactured for each gas pressure and –type.
For safety reasons, the complexity of the components as well as the level of disassembly required, we don’t allow converting a grill from one operating pressure to another. Doing so will void the warranty and might create an unsafe situation.
Furthermore, to comply with local laws, each grill has a data label attached, containing information about country of destination, gas pressure and –type and CE-approval number. Converting a grill will make the label invalid and thus the converted grill no longer correspond to the basis for CE-approval that is mandatory for products sold and used within Europe.
Grills can be moved between the countries listed in the “Country of destination”-section on the label, as long as gas pressure and –type remain the same.
Grills imported from outside Europe are also subject to the above.
