First, make sure that your grill is clean.
The grill chamber and drip pan should be free from any grease and residue.

1. Plug in the power cord and pre-heat the PULSE, while the lid is closed on the highest setting.
The grill is completely heated if the display shows 536°F / 280°C.

2. As soon as the grill is full heated, you can open the lid and use your brush to clean the cooking grates from the remaining grease and food. We recommend to wear gloves to protect your hands from the heat.

3. After that you can set the grill to the desired temperature and start grilling.
