The digital temperature display on select Weber Spirit grill models uses 2 AA alkaline batteries. Follow these steps to replace the batteries:

Instructions

1. Check Battery Status:
   • If the batteries are low, a low battery icon will appear at the bottom of the display screen. ​
2. Access the Battery Compartment:
   • Pull the display unit from the table to access the battery door located on the back of the display unit. ​
3. Remove Old Batteries:
   • Open the battery compartment and remove the old batteries. ​
4. Insert New Batteries:
   • Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-). ​
5. Close the Battery Compartment:
   • Securely close the battery door.

Important Notes:

• Use alkaline batteries only for optimal performance. ​
• Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable). ​
• Dispose of old batteries properly according to local regulations.

Once the new batteries are installed, the digital temperature display should function normally.
